During the consultation, we aim to understand your vision for the finishing project, considering how you plan to use the space and any future requirements. We share our design philosophy, guiding you on optimizing the flow of your custom basements. Budget considerations are paramount, ensuring alignment with your financial needs. Measurements of your space are taken during this meeting.
Step 2 – Design and Bid:
Within one week following the initial consultation, you’ll receive a draft design and bid for your basement’s refinishing. Using a CAD system, we replicate your basement’s layout, creating an exact computer blueprint of all mechanical and structural elements. A 3-D rendering and walk-through aid in visualizing the finished space. We provide various pricing options upon request, helping you understand the impact of design elements on your budget. Once designs and budgets are reviewed, we select a construction start date and sign contracts. No fees are required at signing, and the first payment isn’t due until the fourth day of construction.
Step 3 – Construction
Expect your basement remodeling and finishing project to take approximately 7-10 weeks. You will be assigned one of our expert Project Superintendents. Your Project Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring daily communication with you. Our teams are respectful of you and your property, with all access to the job site handled through the basement’s window or walkout door. We strive to meet the construction timelines 100% of the time, providing significant daily progress.
