The entire team was professional and friendly. We worked specifically with Eddie and Patrick who managed our project from start to finish. They were great with communication every step of the way and were on time with expected deadlines, if not ahead of schedule. The bid BIC provided was reasonable, and they maintained transparency with costs and change orders we requested. The workmanship and quality of their trades is top notch, and we are very happy with our new basement! We would definitely work with them again and recommend BIC to our friends and family.
Chris Jorgensen2024-02-01BIC just completed our basement and they did a great job. They finished on time, within budget, and it looks amazing. At the beginning, Patrick, Scott, and Eddie confirmed every inch of where walls were being built, the way each door was going to swivel, and even gave some nice tips on ways we could improve by maximizing our finished sqft. Eddie communicated every day what was going on and was super responsive to all of our questions. Out of the four quotes we received, they were the least pushy and we felt very comfortable with all the employees we met. If I ever move to a house without a finished basement, we will definitely do business with them again.
Sarah Milhollan2024-01-28BIC was hands down the best company we have ever worked with. My husband and I do not have enough good things to say about BIC and the staff through BIC. Patrick was our first point of contact, and we were immediately sold given his friendly and professional demeanor. Scott then worked with us to design the layout. Scott was immensely patient and flexible with us as we changed our minds several times and he made our vision become a reality! We then had Eddie assigned as our project manager, who was outstanding. Eddie was on top of every single request we made, was also patient with us, and his communication with us made our lives so much easier. He touched base with us every single week to give us updates as to where the project was at and what was coming up. We were never confused as to the status given his clear communication. If we ever needed anything changed or addressed Eddie would get back to us immediately with a clear resolution or explanation. Our basement was finished exactly on schedule, which was amazing given some of the changes we made along the way. We are obsessed with the finished project, it was everything we could have asked for and more! 10/10 - would absolutely recommend and would work with again!

Shayla Naymik2024-01-09I wish I could give BIC Construction 500 stars! We received several quotes from several other contractors, but something in our gut told us not to move forward with them--either we got weird vibes or we didn't trust their capabilities. Plus, we had heard so many negative stories from neighbors about contractors up-charging and taking way longer to finish the basement than the original estimate. But we wanted to get our basement finished, so we went online and did some research. When I saw the 5-star rating for BIC Construction I was a bit skeptical--are these reviews real? Are they really a 5-star company? Well, after hiring them and letting them finish my basement, I can confirm from personal experience that BIC Construction is indeed a 5-star company. I called and spoke to Emiko who was warm and friendly and ready, able and willing to answer all of my preliminary questions. We moved forward with booking the consultation and spoke with Scott who walked us through the design/estimate. After speaking with Scott, we knew that moving forward with them as our contractor was the right choice...there was no gut feeling telling us to run away. We felt confident that we were dealing with good people and that we were placing our basement into good hands. But the absolute best part of our experience was working with our project manager, Sara Bandoni! She is such an asset to this company. She is positive, upbeat, personable and incredibly responsive! She gets things done, she makes sure to answer all of our questions and she is super customer oriented. She was a wonderful partner to our family throughout the entire process and made it such a great (and fun!) experience. So thank you Sara for being awesome! Overall: The price was reasonable. There was no scope creep or increase in cost without our written approval--and only for additional changes that we specifically asked for or wanted. The quality of work was amazing. The subcontractors/trades were professional and respectful. I have nothing negative to say (and I am a tough person to please!). So if you're on the fence, then I strongly recommend that you go with BIC Construction. And for the record, I was not paid a penny for this review. I am happy to share my experience with others in order to support the success of a wonderful business.
Julie Scifo2024-01-02BIC was amazing. We got about 6 different quotes for finishing our basement and not one of them was as thorough as BIC and fair in cost. They do a 3D walk through so you can really get a feel for what your finished product will be and make changes where you see fit. The crews were great and Jay our project manager was the best communicator and always as friendly as could be. We were always in the loop of what was going on. I can't recommend this company enough!
Nathan Leatherman2023-12-11Having just finished our basement, I can now say that BIC is top notch. In this day and age of shady tradesman and contractors it was nice to know I could TRUST BIC. From the start of premeasures all the way through the project, Patrick and Sara where amazing to work with. We received a daily message from Sara with the plan for the day, along with timely updates on changes. The trades that BIC uses which have been in partnership for 15-20 years are very clean, respectful, and do great work. I would HIGHLY recommend giving BIC the opportunity to finish your basement.
Linda Miller2023-12-01Absolutely Amazing. As each phase of the project was completed, I was thoroughly impressed at the professionalism, excellence, knowledge, detail, and care that was given to the work. I can't say enough how exceptionally good the crews were who did the framing, drywall, electrical, heating, plumbing, painting, and everything else. They were all top-drawer in their craft. My dad was in construction and while I don't know a lot, I do recognize a job done correctly and with pride of workmanship and these guys were the best. Scott, owner of BIC, prepared a great design layout with utmost functionality yet creativity and beauty including inset doors and special features that gave the basement class and personality. All my friends are saying I should just move into the basement. Chris, also at BIC, was great in doing all the installs that take specialized knowledge such as electric fireplace install. He even fixed the lock on my door. Jay was always willing to help with anything I needed and his infectious personality always brightened my day. It is clear, he really cares about the company and the clients. Patrick was the first person I met. He was working another job when I stopped and asked about the company. He was extremely informative and I was prompted to contact Scott. Sara also was a liaison on the job from start to finish and she also did some really nice work on a number of punch list items. Overall, I never once had to worry whether the work would not be done well or on time. It is truly rare these days to see any company offer this kind of professionalism and customer care as BIC did. Five stars doesn't cut it.

Nikki Thompson2023-10-23Updated with pics** BIC was absolutely amazing start to finish! They made what could have been a stressful basement finish so smooth and easy. Our Project Manager Eddie was especially awesome. He texted us every morning so we knew every day exactly what would be happening and who would be there. All our questions along the way were quickly answered as well. The best decision we made for this project was choosing BIC! Will update with pictures soon as our basement is beautiful and by far our favorite part of our house now!
